Why incoming shs students must choose GAS?

WHAT IS GAS?

GAS is a Senior High School strand that takes on a generalist approach in preparing students for college. It covers various disciplines like Humanities, Social Sciences, Organization, and Management.

Since GAS does not specialize in any strand, you are free to choose any college degree program under the three other strands based on the elective you will choose. Moreover, a possible course to pursue from this strand is Education.

WHY YOU MUST CHOOSE GAS?

GAS is a very versatile within one strand to a lot of different opportunities and challenges. This gives students the more opportunity to explore their views and options and gives them a good mix of subjects so they can make a more informed decision when it comes to choosing an undergraduate degree in the future.

WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT GAS?

It provides ways for the doubtful students to think about their interest and preferred degree once they step into college. It is just a directing point in students’ lives to help them make up their mind with what they really want to be once theyfully build up. The students that wanted to pursue a major in college related to education are to be place in this strand.
